# Prepare a Handled call brief

Turn the person's request into a brief they can review at https://app.askhandled.com. This skill prepares instructions. It does not execute calls or grant access to an account.

## Gather the brief

Use information the person has already supplied. Ask for missing facts that affect the intended outcome or the authority to act. Keep unknown facts explicit rather than inventing them.

The brief needs these details:

- The recipient and their phone number, including country code when known.
- The outcome the person wants from the call.
- Facts the recipient needs to identify or resolve the request.
- Limits on acceptable changes, commitments, spending and information disclosure.
- What the recipient must confirm for the task to count as complete.
- What to do if the preferred outcome is unavailable or a decision exceeds those limits.

Resolve relative dates into exact dates with the person's local timezone when the date matters. For a change to an existing arrangement, state whether the original arrangement must remain in place until a replacement is confirmed. Include only information the recipient needs. Do not request passwords or full payment-card details for the brief.

Present the complete brief for the person's review. Mark missing information and unresolved choices. Give the person the [Handled app link](https://app.askhandled.com) to enter or review the request. New account holders use [signup](https://app.askhandled.com/sign-up) and verify their email before using the app. A link does not submit a task or carry a prepared draft into the app.

Read the current [terms](https://www.askhandled.com/terms) for calling, payment and credit conditions. Read the [privacy policy](https://www.askhandled.com/privacy) before sharing personal information. These pages also support `Accept: text/markdown`.

## Use an existing assistant connection

Handled's MCP integration is a private-owner feature that requires operator configuration. It is disabled by default. There is no shared public MCP URL and ordinary signup does not enable assistant connections.

If the operator has enabled the integration for the private owner, the owner creates an individual connection in **Account**, under **Connected assistants**. The host needs that exact connection URL, the pre-registered public OAuth client ID and its registered callback. The host completes OAuth authorization code with PKCE S256 and uses the full connection URL as the resource. Do not ask the person to paste access tokens, refresh tokens or client secrets into chat.

When an authenticated connection is already available in the host, use its advertised tools and effective capabilities. Prepare the task, show the current saved instructions and obtain explicit approval before starting a call. Additional decision permission requires separate consent. A disconnected or expired connection needs owner action; do not guess replacement URLs or repeatedly retry a rejected start.

Report the outcome from the returned evidence. A connected or ended call alone does not establish completion. Keep uncertain outcomes explicit, and do not retry a call that might already have changed an arrangement without resolving that uncertainty.
